Look, even the most "devout" of us slack a bit for the holidays. Here are a few tips to help you maximize your chances for dietary success during the season.
1. Drink water before (and during) your meal. This will help you feel fuller faster.
2. Eat a quality salad before eating an entree. Once again, this will help you to start feeling fuller, and will take up some space at the onset of your holiday meal.
3. Skip the rolls. Rolls, cornbread, etc. All those heavy, refined starchy carbs will really pack on the pounds over Thanksgiving weekend.
4. Enjoy! Have an awesome Thanksgiving, remember what you're thankful for, and enjoy the fellowship of family and friends.
